SUPER SAFETY TRAINING!

A BREAK THROUGH!

A new era in child safety!

CHILD SAFETY with a PASSION!

Motivational Learning and Teaching!

How do we train so safety is alive, ready, and useable for a life time? The secret is developing a new pattern of thinking with regard to safety issues. Once we understand the critical nature of home safety, then we can make it part of everything we do!

If you go to a two-week safety seminar and learn everything there is to know about home safety, it would only be a temporary fix. The safety lessons will fade away gradually. This would be normal. Pilots are re-trained on safety year after year so their skills will be sharp. So what do we do at home? Nothing is the norm for most homes.

Safety-Smart-Kids believes in a concept we call "Motivational Learning and Teaching". It is a multi-faceted approach that helps us develop a "passion" or "genuine concern", about safety. From our "Safety Tool Kit" your have the basic elements of developing a life long approach to safety for your kids.

YOU NEED SOME TOOLS TO WIN THIS BATTLE!

The Basic Elements for Success!

Don't get burned!

Passion creates the driving force!

Passion provides the energy that gets the job done. Few things of importance happen, unless there is a passion creating the driving force. Some of the passion comes from us recognizing the all this safety activity is based on real data with that reveal a significant probability of injury or death to our children. From these facts, we can derive a “passion’ or “concern” for our children.

Also, consider your children will be gradually on their own more and more and so they need their own safety skills. They too are plagued by the standard methods of teaching a subject. Subjects are taught and little is retained on a long term bases.

How do we motivate the kids? Based on our experience with our video, “Being a Safe Kid©”- kids had a multiple dimensional exposure to “Motivational Learning”. We will approach this in some depth in our section on motivation.

The concept was formulated after the video was produced, and after we had some feed back from some of the parents whose children had seen the video. We feel we have a significant method of teaching that provides motivation and it also helps to provide memory.

There is always a better way!

The traditional approach to "safety" is taught with very little excitement, motivation or feeling. It is traditionally pretty boring. Yes, we need the rules, and disciples it teaches, but to keep it active in children’s lives is a significant task.

Everyday there are family’s heart broken by events occurring due to safety issues. We can look the other way, and say this is their problem, but the reality is tomorrow it may our kids, our home. So the problem is everyone’s responsibility and everyone needs to connect.

Protecting the kids is our job!

Motivation can come from many directions. Accidently touch a burner on the stove, and you have motivation, that is instant and lasting. Real time events happen to us, but it is far better to use our minds to prevent the scars, the tears, and the pain that comes from injuries at home.
