CHILD SAFETY - REALITY CHECK!
WHAT IS HAPPENING?

SURVIVAL IS NO ACCIDENT!
A new era in child safety!
DANGER CAN FOOL YOU!
Understanding the risk is the beginning!
If the adults don’t understand the probabilities of a home injury then how can they possibly protect their children?
Most adults feel safest when they are at home, even though the evidence reveals the opposite. Some studies suggest over twice as many injuries occur at home as in automobiles.
As we learn we can protect!
In order to grasp the need for home safety awareness, the adults need to be educated. The government and private institutions have worked towards the enlightenment of parents and guardians in this regard with some very good successes in many areas; however, there is still a tremendous amount of room for improvement.
The mission is critical!
Look at what we are doing!
Keep it simple!
In order to grasp the nature of what we are dealing with, we have to learn the facts. There’s a tremendous amount of information on the Internet regarding home safety. Much of that information is statistical data that is complicated.
A simplified "picture" of what’s really going on in the world of safety is that we have a serious problem - a large number of children are being hurt or killed in preventable accidents that occur at home.
Statistics never moved anyone's heart!
Home accidents are affecting millions of children annually. Even with the most conservative estimates, the numbers are huge. When most of these are preventable, we have our "heads buried in the sand" while our children are victims. Is this the children's responsibility or ours? People in general just don't know!
We can't wait?
What you can't see can hurt you!
This is about your kids!
What does this information mean to you and your family? You don’t have to be a mathematician to understand that your children can be in danger when they are home. Each parent must decide, shall I put safety aside until another day or forget about entirely, or shall I take action. The harsh realties are still present for your children.
Somebody has to protect them and when they are old enough, teach them. When they are very young, we can watch over them. As they become mobile, they must be trained for even in the best of homes, they can't be watched every second.
If you rely on others, then they will get some training, but as you explore this web site you will see how inadequate the training is and how in many ways the world glorifies dangerous behavior.
Danger remains even if you ignore it!
We will connect you with good sources for safety information and training you need, but perhaps even more importantly we will help you establish a “Tool Box” of safety information that will better equip you protect your children. Knowledge is "power"! Your efforts will make a significant difference in your children's lives.
The tools!
